How do I reset my router?

WSR-5000

There is a reset button located on the back of the WSR-5000 XRouter Areo that you can reach with a paperclip or a pen. Press this button and hold it down for about 15-20 seconds. Watch the XRouter's front display and you will see the Ready/Test light turn on. When the light goes off, let go of the reset button and repower the router. The unit will now be set back to factory defaults. The power to the unit must be on at the time of reset.

PR-100

Our PalmRouter does not have a reset button so you must perform the following.
1. Remove all cables from the PalmRouter including the power supply.
2. Depress the uplink switch so it’s in the down position.
3. Use a regular Ethernet cable to connect Port 1 with Port 4.
4. Re-insert the power supply and wait for 5 seconds or until the Self Test light goes off.
Now the PalmRouter PR-100 is reset to factory defaults.
