Do I need to install any driver for my FE-551 using 10.3.x, 10.4.x and 10.5.x on my Mac?

No, there is no driver to install for Mac OS 10.3.x, 10.4.x and 10.5.x.

Once the card has been properly placed in an open pci slot it will automatically get recognized by the Mac OS once the machine has been booted up.

1) After the computer boots up open Network from the System Preferences window. A dialog will alert you that a New Port has just been detected.

2) Click the OK button.

3) In the Show menu, select Ethernet Adaptor (enXX) where XX is any arbitrary numeric number. This is the hardware name that represents the FE-551 adaptor on your Mac OS X.

4) Open the TCP/IP tab. In the Configure pull-down menu, select Using DHCP Server to allow the DHCP server on the network to dynamically assign IP addressing.

5) Close the Network window and save the changes.
