i had problem like this before. the trick was to reset the adapter and then try to log into the config page with the default ip. but the actual sequence of steps elude me right now. i will figure it out again and post an answer her later.

Hello,

I just installed the AeroLite WUA-880 on my PowerMac G5. Everything works fine. I can connect wirelessly to my time capsule and browse the internet, get my email, etc…

However, the airport utility will no longer find my time capsule. Time Machine will no longer find the time capsule either. iTunes will not find my Apple TV and viceversa.

I can ping all those devices (in the airport utility, for example, I can open up the settings if I know the IP address of the time capsule) so the internal network does work and all devices have valid IP addresses.

Is there something I'm doing wrong? I installed the latest version of the driver from this site. I really need to get this working otherwise it's like having a crippled card.

Thanks in advance,
Julian

Hello,

Provided with AeroLite is a cd there are also only two drivers and they are for Mac, OS 10.3.x and OS 10.4.x. Your best bet is to use the 10.4 driver if your running OS 10.5.7. We have seen it work in most cases and some other not at all. For any further questions please contact by email tech support (moc.esnescam|troppus#moc.esnescam|troppus)

Purchased this to provide wireless connectivity to my Mac G4 Desktop.

Mac G4 Running Sys. X 10.5.7

Trying to connect to an ATT 2Wire DSL modem/router/wireless router.

The router is WEP encrypted.

Set-up went fine and was able to secure a connection to the internet. However,

after initial set-up Aerolite configuration utility was closed and connection was lost.
Aerolite configuration utility was re-launched and my 2Wire network was displayed, however the Mac operating system multi-colored
beach ball continued to spin endlessly and it would not re-connect to my network. No signal strength was picked up and likewise no quality indicated. Green light was on steady in Aerolite USB device
during the time that the "beach ball of death" was spinning.

At this point a "restart" of the computer was attempted, however Aerolite Utility hung and would not allow the computer to restart. Force Quit would not Quit Aerolite Utility either.
A forced shut down by holding the power button was required.

The computer was restarted and when it did Aerolite configuration utility automatically launched (checked and it is not in the "login on startup" selection on this or any other account). This time, closed the window,
but did not Quit the utility program. Connected just fine to the network while working on the computer and through "sleep" cycle's as well. However, when logged out of the account and back into the account once again,
the Utility did not connect to the network, program hung and could not force quit or shut-down the computer normally. When logging out of one and account and into a different account same thing. Loss of network. Hung program and computer
does not shut down normally.

When program is hung, at first my network continues to be displayed as available. When rescan is selected, my network disappears. Unplugging and replugging the Aerolite into the USB port was no help.

When computer is turned on and receiving the Network properly signal strength is around 75% and Quality in the low 90's.

Your help is appreciated.

Two things, one a light red at the top of the unit would make it better for sight to know if the unit is off.
Two if the power cord would pigeback withe the sutter relise cable you could use it with a tripod and lone lens. Other then that good job….

Hello,

I recommend to email Macsense Tech Support (moc.esnescam|troppus#moc.esnescam|troppus), along with your email take a snapshot of the Basic Settings menu and the Site Survey menu with AeroPad Mini.

We apologize for the delay back to you.

Hello,

Both BTi-600 and BTi-660 do not support iPod Touch. The link below shows support for both products.

Re: Geomet'r 10 pin connection by MacsenseMacsense, 1233699127|%e %b %Y, %H:%M %Z|agohover

Title pretty much says it. I have four other wireless clients working fine: a PC, Mac, Wii, and unix laptop.

Symptoms:

1. Steady blinking LED on WLAN
2. Even 6 feet away from the AP, connection shows up momentarily then disappears. (As seen from the AP.)
3. No DHCP through the AeroPad Mini
4. Admin website on the adapter seems to be ok

a. Changed location to near the AP
b. Verified keys. Cannot enter in full ASCII password, but hex goes in ok.
c. Matched hex keys for all 5 buckets. Matched WEP settings (open and shared, etc.)
d. Verified all DTIM, Beacon, fragmentation, etc. settings are identical to AP
e. Performed hardware (pin) reset on AeroPad, no effect
f. Confirmed switch on bottom of AeroPad set to "Client"
g. Tried manual release/renew of workstation IP settings. Also tried manual IP settings.
h. "Site survey" tool on admin website shows nothing.

I have not dropped encryption from the wireless (not an option). The WLAN SSID is not announced.

Ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks,

bs

Does anyone know if the BlueICE transmitter and receiver (BTI-600 and 660) are compatible with the Ipod Touch 1st and 2nd generation? The packaging only lists the click wheel Ipods, however the website doesen't exclude the Ipod Touch.

I am interested in purchasing a 10 pin "Y" connection. This would enable me to use the Geomet'r and a cable release at the same time.
I would appreciate any help you could provide.
Thank you.
